Partner of heat treatment

We check your heat treatment systems

With the introduction of the CQI-9, not only aerospace technology but also the automotive industry are committed to subjecting heat treatment processes to stricter rules. This standard is a supplement to ISO TS 16949 under "customer-specific requirements" and applies to all global suppliers to the aerospace and automotive industries.

These guidelines describe the requirements for thermal process systems in detail: Temperature uniformity (TUS - Temperature Uniformity Survey) in the work space, instrumentation (specification of the measuring and control equipment), calibration of the measuring section from the controller to the measuring line to the thermocouple, tests of the system accuracy (SAT system accuracy Test), documentation of the test cycles. Compliance with the guidelines is necessary in order to guarantee the required quality standard of the components to be manufactured in a reproducible manner, even in series.

The CQI-9 Heat Traet System Assessment is a self-assessment (self-assessment) regarding heat treatment, developed by the North American automotive association AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group), which is also the publisher of the CQI standards (Continuous Quality Improvement).
